Graeme is a naturopathic physician and founder of the Integrated Medicine Institute (IMI) in Hong Kong. He has extensive experience conducting detoxification programs at his private clinic, internationally, as well as previously at Kamalaya. Graeme brings together the most current medical research and methods for physical detoxification, with insight and compassion, to guide individuals through healing on all levels.

Physically, the Holistic Detox cleanses the bowel, colon and internal organs, while supporting the liver with herbs and nutrients to aid in the elimination of environmental poisons and accumulated toxins

Other therapies include far infra-red sauna, Chi Nei Tsang (Taoist Abdominal Massage) and colonic hydrotherapy administered by qualified nurses.

Graeme also facilitates optional lectures, guided meditations, movement therapies and transformational sessions for total body-mind clearing.

The Holistic Detox does not require you to fast, although calories are restricted and some weight loss should be expected. Those with previous experience may choose an accelerated program for more intensive cleansing and/or weight loss.

Information about Detoxification treatments
A summary of the detox treatments is given below.

Far Infra-red Sauna
Developed with the most current research and technology to deeply penetrate under the skin, into the lymph vessels and fatty tissues. The infrared brings up a sweat with far more heavy metal, plastic and pesticide poisons that do regular saunas. They are also much more comfortable, as they operate at a lower temperature.

Chi Nei Tsang (Taoist Abdominal Massage)
Helps to release stored tension and promote circulation within the internal organs, assisting with a diversity of digestive problems. It greatly assists elimination of waste from the intestines.

Colonic Hydrotherapy Machine with Ozone
The latest equipment in colon therapy has been installed at Kamalaya. Colonics are simply an advanced form of bowel cleansing. Colonic hydrotherapy are safely administered by qualified nurses at Kamalaya. The session is also optional, though is recommended.

Medical Food: nutrients for improving liver detoxification
