Princess Sirindhorn to visit Phuket

10 Oct 2006, PHUKET: HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will visit Phuket on October 20 to preside over the official opening of three new centers on the island.

In the morning, Princess Sirindhorn will chair the ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the new building of the Thai Red Cross Society, Phuket Chapter, on Rattanakosin 200 Pi Rd in Phuket City.

After this, Princess Sirindhorn will graciously preside over the opening of the Phuket Provincial Administration Organization’s new “E-Library”, located at the Muang Phuket School on Wiset Rd in Rawai.

Princess Sirindhorn’s third stop will be at the Wang Talang International Lapidary Co on Chao Fa West Rd, where she will chair a ceremony to open a new section of the shop that will sell products made by tsunami victims.

After this, Princess Sirinhorn is scheduled to have a private tour of the Rolly Tasker sail loft, also on Chao Fa West Rd.

Her last scheduled visit for the day will be to Patong, where she will officially open the Children’s Happy Home Foundation, a childcare center.
